  • Whether you are young or old, big or small, passionate about fitness or a beginner, I can help your reach your goals.

    Most clients are aged between 20 and 60. I have an even split between clients aiming to lose fat, gain muscle, or both.

  • Hard but not too hard. By working smart and utilising the latest science we can make great progress without sacrificing everything that you love, or killing yourself in the gym.

    But nothing worth having is easy, so you need to be able to commit.

  • Firstly, we would decide together whether a change to your diet is required.

    If change is required, I make changes to your diet as easy as possible. The easier I make the diet to follow, the better you will stick to it. And consistency is key. You will never be asked to follow a fad diet.

    The way that we approach achieving a change in your diet depends on you and your preferences. We can take any 1 of 3 approaches to the diet:

    1. Following a meal plan - Suitable for individuals who like structure.

    2. Counting calories - Suitable for individuals that want more flexibility with their diet.

    3. Habit formation - If either of the first two options aren’t for you, we can introduce general rules to follow that will keep you on track.

  • Training is focused on weight training, with some cardio to supplement this if needed.

    Almost everyone enjoys weight training more than cardiovascular exercise. Plus, the benefits are even greater. Lifting weights burns calories just like cardio. But it grows muscle far better than cardio does. Also, by gaining muscle your metabolism increases. This makes dieting easier and helps you maintain your goals in the long-term.

    There are many other amazing benefits to weight training, such as increased bone density, improved hormone levels, and improved flexibility.

  • To be able to join a Fit Focal programme you need to be able to train at least twice a week. So if you are on the Base plan with 1 in person session a week, you need to be able to train once more a week. This can be either at home or at a gym.
